Allied Universal - - Responsibilities: Provide customer service to site personnel and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a utilities location; Carry authorized firearm and related equipment in accordance with Allied Universal policies, post orders, and applicable laws, maintaining proper control, storage, and documentation as required; Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including alarms, disturbances, and emergency conditions, and coordinate notifications to site contacts and/or public responders as needed; Conduct regular and random armed patrols of buildings, yards, substations and/or perimeter areas, checking gates, doors, and restricted areas for unusual conditions and helping to deter unauthorized access; Monitor access control points, camera systems and/or alarm panels when assigned, verify credentials, direct traffic and deliveries, and complete detailed written reports and logs of patrols, incidents, and maintenance or hazard observations
