Description:

Integrated Talent Strategies (ITS) is seeking a Material Services / Inventory Associate to work in Lawton, OK, 73507. This position offers a strong benefits package, including health insurance, 401(k) with company match, and paid time off.

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM (OT as needed)

Position Overview

The Material Services / Inventory Associate provides support to the Material Services organization by performing duties related to material accountability, inventory management, and operation of storerooms and storage yards. This role requires safe and efficient handling of materials, including heavy and irregularly shaped items, and may involve local travel within a designated territory.

Key Responsibilities

  • Update, maintain, and organize inventory records, files, and material documentation.
  • Issue materials under proper authorization and maintain related records.
  • Inspect incoming materials for quantity, condition, and compliance; report irregularities.
  • Process and manage returned materials; sort usable vs. non-usable items.
  • Prepare materials for shipment or storage, including required shipping documentation.
  • Operate material handling equipment such as forklifts, telehandlers, hoists, cranes, and pallet jacks.
  • Assist in maintaining inventory accuracy through cycle counts and discrepancy adjustments.
  • Support supervisor and team members with storage organization and material relocation.
  • Perform administrative tasks as needed to support the Material Services team.
  • Follow all safety policies and procedures.
Required Skills & Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in inventory control, material handling, warehousing, or a related field.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office programs (Excel, Word, Outlook) and basic computer skills.
  • Ability to operate motorized material handling equipment and road vehicles.
  • Physical capability to lift up to 70 pounds; successful completion of a Physical Ability Test (PAT) is required.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Motivated, dependable, team-oriented, respectful, and flexible.
  • Ability to work safely indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions.
  • Construction or heavy equipment experience preferred; training may be provided for specialized equipment.
Preferred Equipment Experience
  • Case 821 Wheel Loader / All-Terrain Forklift (up to 16,000 lbs.)
  • JLG Telehandler (7,000 - 12,000 lbs.)
  • Forklifts, pallet jacks, hoists, and other material handling tools
Work Environment
  • Sedentary to heavy lifting, including indoor warehouse and outdoor yard work.
  • Safety-focused, with Zero Harm as the #1 priority.
  • PPE provided (steel-toe boots required; side shields required if wearing glasses).
